Need help identifying mushrooms

Habitat:

BC Canada, conifer forest mainly pine, 1500m elevation, growing in the ground with pine needles and sticks.


Gills:
White gills, attached, no veil ring. Smooth milky white stem.


Stem:
3-6 centimeters long, 2-4 centimeters wide, spongy, milky white stem


Cap:
Large caps, 4-7 centimeters wide and 3-4 centimeters tall. Dark purple/ or maybe dark brown with creamy colored spots. Smooth when dry, kinda slimy or sticky when wet.


Spore print color:
Unknown

Bruising:
Slight gray bruising


Other information:
Smells like a button mushroom

was going to say Stropharia rugosoannulata immediately after seeing the first pic...but gill color and lack of annulus rules that out.

Looks like you've got a Russula infected with something.  I found a similar one last fall.
