Is this a parasol?

Hi, Dangerous newbie here, just getting into it. Got the morel thing down. These appear to be parasol? with a couple discrepancies. 1) The stem is pretty thick (3/4-7/8") 2) no snake skin on the stem. 3) no maple smell...smells like a mushroom
They have a pure white spore print with no green tint. The ring is loose. The stem is 50% hollow and the hollow part is full of a "web like" substance. Any help is greatly appreciated...thank you! Jeff

it's not a parasol in the sense of Macrolepiota. e need more info, like where exactly did you find them,in the grass? Under a tree? what kind of tree? Also take a pic of the sporeprint, not that we don't believe you, different people have different ideas about color

They come up in our garden southern OR 660 ft but I added wood compost a few years ago (unknown tree compost) but it helped break up the clay. Also, I use cardboard in the rows to prevent weeds, and they seem to like to grow near the edge of that. I didn't have any black paper. I took the spore print on this blue. I questioned maybe it could be greenish....took it again on white and the spores were the same color as the paper.
I only have this yellowish pic of the bulb, that shows where the root snapped off.
Sorry about the huge pics...i just noticed you have a pic host here and I will use it next time.

In many ways it resembles a Chlorophyllum species. Unusually thick and short stem though.

Yeah, that's what my books said. The stems should be longer, thinner and have a "snake skin" texture. They say we have 2 types, grey and white.
Everything else checks in, so the book says to taste it a little and so on.
Does anyone think it's poisonous?

That applies only to Macrolepiota procera, a different genus and species. This doesn't resemble strongly enough any of the obvious edible 'Parasols' so probably best avoided. That is unless you can find more in-situ and take more pics. Look up the genus Lepiota, of which there are some very poisonous species. Also check out Leucoagaricus. These all share some of the same features some of the time.

You're right, they do look like ALOT Leucoagaricus, and have the same thick stems. It seems the Lepiota are mainly European? and are smaller.
I will try to get better pics of young and growing. It's hard because they are usually under the large squash leaves or other shade and I don't see them until they fully open...thanks for the heads up. It says they are "slightly poisonous when raw" and inedible, I probably would have ate more then I should have.
This is just a pic I researched (Leucoagaricus) that look like them.
