Take a look at this cake please (contam?)

So I've begun working with Oakridge and so far I've noticed some weird occurrances in the fully colonized jars. I'm wondering if these things are just attributed to the different strain I'm using or what.
1. Weird brownish yellowy type colorings on most of the jars. This coloring doesn't start showing up until the jars are several days into the consolidation period.
2. Liquid pooling in the bottom of the jars.
This one in particular is almost done with the 7 day colonization and it looks very concerning to say the least lmao PLEASE NOTE THE YELLOW AT THE BOTTOM IS LIQUID AND NOT PART OF THE CAKE:

Now I've read about 'myc piss' and I'm assuming the liquid I've gotten in these jars is that, but not sure. This jar in particular has a lot more then the others did and this is the first one where the liquid pooling at the bottom is yellow.
Any input is appreciated, but please don't reply to this thread if you don't know what you are talking about.

I just decided to toss it. It looked too dodgy for me, but I'd still like to know what it was in case I come across anything similar. I'm assuming it was a contam but I'd like to know for sure

I'm pretty sure that what you have is a collection of metabolites settling at the bottom of the jar. Probably the mycelium trying to fight some form of bacteria or other contamination that's attempting to grow in the 'hole' that you see near the middle of the jar.
No matter what, I would toss that out, clean the jar with bleach water, and start over. Do I 'know' what I'm talking about? Well, I'm not a mycologist, but I've been at this for nearly a decade and I wouldn't attempt to use the contents of that jar for anything.

if you've been doing this for a decade you should be able to tell that its not cubensis mycelium growing in that jar. Good decision throwing it out OP!

It's not? So what is it? I figured it was it was just a contam on the cubensis myc.

since it looks like that after 7 days I'd say its mostly mold. cant tell you which mold it is tho, it just looks thick and unorganized.
if it was a 3 month old jar kept in room temp it could have perhaps been mostly cube myc in there but I really dont think so.
also all that metabolite soup says something is seriously wrong.

Haha yea it was sick when I had to throw it out. I noticed this oakridge strain seems to grown a layer of skin over the colonized cake. Should I peel the skin stuff off? It's white skin covering the myc. I have no clue what it is, but once again I'm not sure if it's just this strain or what. All of the cakes have grown this layer of skin. Weird shit.
Edit: Forgot to mention the 'skin' layer that grows over the colonized cakes peels right off. It seems like it's some sort of protection layer for the myc or something. I peeled it off on one cake and left it on another then dunked and rolled those 2. So I guess I will find out shortly, but I'd like some input from you guys so I know what I should do with the rest of these cakes.

Could be stroma.
Also I think you need to go back to that print and get some cleaner transfers.
