Hi everyone,
I am new to posting on shroomery but have been reading for years, so please point me in the right direction if this is in the wrong spot.
I recently went down south around Albany area and found some possible G. Purps growing in a pine plantation from either pine needles on the ground or from a rotten fallen tree, my only concern is that when I found them it had been raining for days and days prior to me stumbling across them so in their life (most likely) they havent even seen proper sunshine and they did not show scaling until dried/semi dried.
but apart from that it ticks all the boxes (so far as I know), reddish brown on the cap (scaling appear once drying started) , bright yellow gills when they were still wet slightly orange now they have dried, dark green bruising appeared where I had touched the cap a day or so later and left a rusty orange spore print, the stem was very fibrous and quite hard to break, stem also showed discolouration a day or 2 after being squeezed.
Any help would be much appreciated or any pointers in the right direction!
I took some photos while they were wet, drying and dry with different cameras as colour from each showed slightly different to real life.

in the first picture the ones I suspect to be G. Purps are the ones up the back the other ones show the colour as they were drying and then dried, hope these pics help! the most accurate picture for colour as i saw them when they were on the ground was the first picture with the specimens up the top/back

You do look like you have some Gym's there but that first picture looks like a box full of stretchy.

I put them in the box to compare species only - the top ones were removed immediately after the photo was taken - I have done other research into the other species you see but none were active so far as I can tell.
I was trying to see what other species grow near or in the same area and those were the others that came up - I was hoping for some Psilocybe, but super stoked if these are G. purpuratus because they seemed to be abundant
I am a bit sceptical to consume, until I am 100% sure that they are Gyms, Can anyone else confirm ID I would love a few more opinions before I commit!
and thank you for your feedback mate! muchly appreciated!
