I recently did some grain to Grain transfers I took one quart jar and divided it amongst four other jars and they are doing fantastic, but the jars I use to transfer to were wild bird seed, so I really have two questions.... first is it safe to shake them once they get to about 30 or 40 percent colonization? And second, will wbs support sclerotia growth?. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated thanks in advance:-) oh yeah, 1 other question, how hard is it to fruit them?, very easy or extremely difficult? I sincerely and very very very grateful for all of your guys advice, every bit of it has been on point thanks

I wouldn't shake them. Sometimes they don't like it. Sclerotia are a longer-term project.
They make sclerotia just fine on WBS, but it's hard as fuck to get those tiny kernels out.
Fruiting is reasonably easy. Do it just like Cubensis, use poo if you have it. Case with a thin 50/50+ or any casing mix of your choice. Give them a little extra FAE and mist it once in a while. Monos are pretty ideal for them.

Did you shake when you initially did the G2G?
I find galindoi to be pretty slow and I've needed shakes to get jars to finish. I've never seen shaking impact sclerotia production. In fact, my best performing jars have been shaken once or more.
The way I see it is that if you shake and it doesn't rebound, you already had a contam. Or if you shake and it doesn't form stones, you have bad stone genetics and it's likely not worth the time anyway. Either scenario you know where you stand and can adjust your plans accordingly.
Best of luck with your grow.

Be patient, they should be fine. If you do shake them, shake them earlier than normal.

One more question....if I had a couple brf jars prepped and sterilized, can I put sone colonized grains in a pf jar somehow? I figure they (sclerotia) would grow like a champ that way... Lmk

Once you pop the top on a PF jar, it's no longer sterilized. Could you do it successfully? Possibly. But, how do you plan on getting the grain past the dry layer of verm in a PF jar?

Was planning a G2G with one of my Tampensis jars. Now I'm not 100% sure.

You can definitely G2G. I've G2G a 4 month old jar full of stones to 7 new quarts and all yielded 100+ grams wet.
This was using rye though. It's bad enough cleaning the rye off stones, I would think that WBS would be more of a pain.
If you want to try to go to a PF jar, you could always fill a syringe with sterile water, inject into colonized grain jar, fill syringe again with myc water, and then inject into PF jar.

Just cause you pulled it off doesn't mean it's reliable. I haven't ever had a problem shaking them or doing G2G, but I haven't done them a whole lot and I've seen lots of others have problems with it. It's best to play it safe, cause if you try to G2G after 4 months and it doesn't work you're gonna be pissed.
