Well, a trained eye can always tell. Stetsonia has those withe areoles, huge black spines. but the best way to ID a plant is always possession of one exemplar. You get so used to the appearence that you can immediately tell.
Anyhow, pic you posted now, it's a keeper. Probably a T.Pachanoi. The other one behind him is a pach too. Buy them both.

I'm gonna say that this is likely NOT pachanoi but probably Myrtillocactus cochal or geometrizans. It does look close but the ribs and spines don't exactly look right.
I can be wrong try taking more pictures.

Looking again. Lower part resembles some Myrtillocactus i have, but the top still looks like a trich to me. Anyhow, i'm still confident about the one in the back to be a trich.

The top growth is what helped me ID it... if you look closely at the new growth the ribs reach a peak rather than being round like regular trichocereus. Both seem to be the same cactus.
Again this one is a bit iffy for me more pics will help

Yeah, myrts have a pretty distinctive spine pattern, really thick spines, one long one surrounded by 3-4 short ones
