I wasn't crazy about Brussells but Bruges and Antwerp were awesome. Amsterdam is probably my favorite place on earth. I need to go back now that I have some money. I spent one night there in the cheapest place I could find which was a christian hostel with a 11 pm curfew, terrible idea. They kicked people out for drugs so everyone crams as much in before the doors get locked. The best is when you wake up the red light district is right there and you are walk out and see a massage parlor. I found a better place the next night which was very weed friendly.

Don't think they don't like tourists, they're the heart of the economy in A'dam. About the language; I mostly have problems to talk dutch in coffeshops and smartshops there, 70% employees are not even from the netherlands

We don't hate tourists. It's just that some of them have the tendency to turn their back to the traffic, and then step on to the road. This can be frightening if you're a local on a bicycle.

The legal ones, ie., truffles, salvia, kratom, cactus, a number of RCs, and probably some that I'm not aware of. And of course ultra strong weed and the best Moroccan hash.

Amsterdam traffic is the most insane traffic I have ever participated in. And it is also scary they allow motorized bikes on the bike path. Super intense biking compared to here in Berlin.

I was in Amsterdam in July. Stayed with my Czech friend in the "Heart of Amsterdam" hostel. This place was awesome. Highly recommend it if you're traveling around and what an affordable bed with quality facilities. Friendly staff and very weed friendly. Out of consideration however, we decided not to smoke in the room. We could have, but when you can just walk outside and watch the sluts, why stay in?
Picked up Golden Teacher truffles. I forgot how many grams it was, but remember thinking "wow, that's a lot" compared to dry dosage. Pretty bizarre when you realize your tripping on the other side of the world in stoner paradise. Transportation system kinda sucks though. Maybe cuz I'm not from the area though. I think Prague has one of the best Day trippin' in the RLD was awesome. That was where our hostel was located. Fuckin unreal man..

There are coffee shops, and then there are the special shops with edibles and psychs. Yes, very much available to the public, although a tad harder to find than bud. The Bulldog has 3 shops over there and seems to be the most popular attraction.

Fuckin loved the hash joints. Get those motherfuckers pre rolled and just puff away. However, I need to get out to Colorado because I hear the chocolate there is much stronger. I was disappointed in the SpaceCakes. Didn't feel anything. Same reaction with brownies
Sorry for the long reply, I'm still really hyped up over going to Europe this summer.

Man, I love the Dutch like they love the color orange. Friendly, tall, speak better English than I do. One of my best friends has dual citizenship. We had a legitimate plan to get married as adults when we were like 17 because I wanted Dutch citizenship, but it turns out that it's not quite that easy does not work the way it does in the US, and naturalizing can take over a decade(durr), so obviously the plan faded into oblivion.
I've never been to Belgium but the cities do look incredibly beautiful. Did you see the famous yellow lab of Bruges?
