EATING MUSHROOMS WITH GREEN MOLD. HELP!

I just picked a lousy yield of 10 grams fresh in a bulk tub. I had two tubs going and one didn't grow any and got infected completely by green mold the other one had a bunch of pins but only 10 grams came up and the tallest mushroom was about an inch and a half. The mushrooms I picked have a greenish blue color to them the caps are not fully opened but are tan. Are they still safe to eat?

Most likely. Now eat them and think about what you've done.

Dude.. That green mold is trich. If you had trich and kept growing anyways theres a good chance that it released spores and is ALL OVER your house. That's bad news. I cant confirm if its safe too eat, But I personally would definitely not eat moldy mushrooms like I wouldn't eat moldy cheese...
Cut a mushroom down the middle.. If its gooy or looks black toss those poor babies.

Eating mushrooms from a contaminated substrate is perfectly fine. That being said, them mushrooms completely normal.

Gross.. I'm sorry but "contaminated" and "perfectly fine" don't belong in the same sentence. Not challenging whether or not they'll harm the user. But that's nasty..

Guess what? I've done it plenty of times. So has many other people. It's completely fine. Even that one ole' fuck RR says its totally fine. They taste no different, look no different, and smell no different.
And if for some reason thy do, then they're not safe to eat. Don't get the OP scared for noo reason.

Okay well obviously you haven't done it before so you're not much of an effective authority on it. Mushrooms from a contaminated substrate are fine and they probably only look green because they're bruised. You would be able to tell if there was mold on the fruits because it would rub off.

I cut a bunch open and they have mostly are very dark green with some white mixed in. Dark spots are soft but still look fibrous.

i'm more concerned with the spindly look and tiny caps, and why the fuck did you kill a bunch of younglings?
you could benefit from better light and a ton more fae. if you even had any fae or lights going?
they're perfectly fine to eat they're just bruised, also food rarely molds from the inside out IME.

Right?
Mold is fuzzy. If the color doesn't rub off, that's bruising, which partially implies that you've somewhat ruined the potency by cutting them up and letting them sit around so long.

I think I made the cakes too big in the tub. I had poly fill but little light and I'm still not 100% on what fae is or how to do it with a bulk tek.

these are my tubs. First mistake was too thick of cakes covering the damn poly fill. I don't know what I was thinking. And the tub never got 100% colonized. The bottom was still just coco air it never turned white.

Okay yes fresh air exchange. Since the poly fill was covered I did fan them with the lid about 3 times a day. But light was almost never there or very dim.

Not trying to scare anyone. Certainly not out Of eating mushrooms. Just saying I, me, the person I am would not eat those. Voicing an opinion. Nor was I suggesting food molds from the inside out wtf? Just that bad mushrooms the center the inside will be black or gooy. Or am I mistaken?

Why are you calling those cakes? Cakes are like... little half pint jars. Why did you fill those up past the holes? And if you were going to do that, why didn't you just make new holes? That thing's not getting any air, no wonder it molded over.

Here's a question: Why so many holes in your mono? You really only need 2 on the long sides and 1 on each of the shorter sides. Just curious why you set it up that way
