The last real bastion of hope for the USD was a higher oil price. That's sinking fast. Iran as admitted by John Kerry was/is absolutely necessary for the US to have trade oil in USD, and if they deviate from that, expect serious trouble to come their way. This would of course lead to the war which supports the USD, and has for quite some time now. Do you think all those poppies don't pay a few bills? I notice the US didn't invade Greece hoping to score on some olive oil.

Bitcoin is ultra liquid, holds no space and has a proven record of behaving like gold should when different countries collapse economically and are exiting their currency. Its price cannot be manipulated. It cannot be regulated or confiscated.
The only thing with bitcoin is the blockchain is getting really large and a new bitcoin xt version just came out. Idk which one the market will take to but one or both of them will probably enter a pretty nice bubble before this is over. The market "tulip" hysteria plus the desperate scrambles to retain value from fiat collapses should make for a pretty crazy ride. I'm keeping all my savings in it. It could also go to zero but I am happy with the odds. Please take this opinion with a grain of salt I may be completely wrong.
