Do you NEED to go to a field with cows to find liberty caps?

When you go hunting for liberty caps do you have to find a field full of cows or can you go to a sheep's field? I just don't want to go near the cows that's all in case they get aggressive and plus a lot of the cows in my area are like right outside the farmers house when I don't want to be seen.

Nope, it's pretty well known that a field with sheep is the best place to look.
Why are you so scared of cows anyways?

Yes. Probably near the poop of most animals that eat grass.

Cows are not aggressive animals. The cows I encounter on my hunts are actually polite. Ever so often when I pass through a gate into one of my hunting grounds, a small herd of them will be standing close together just inside the gate, but will then move in order to let me through.
They can appear as intimidating if you're not accustomed to their behaviour, large as they are. They will eye you a bit when they initially become aware of your presence, and occasionally move towards you lead by one of the braver ones. This is just curiosity on their behalf, and they will soon return to their favourite activity - grazing.
As long as you mind your own business, they will mind theirs. Just make sure you don't enter a bull's pen.

I haven't tried them yet, I was told their stronger than the big cream colored shrooms I used to pick in Florida. I can't get nothing else, its cints or nothing for me.
About the cows, they are usually not aggressive, but I have been escorted off their fields by the herd once. The bull is usually with the rest of the herd. This is all many years ago in Florida. I haven't found any safe pastures in Pa, they are in front of the farmers house, any one driving past on the road can see you ect...

I've spent the last two years working on ranches during certain times of the year and have collected mushrooms on them before that. Never had any problems. They are prey animals and act accordingly. The bulls will stand around and guard the herd but even they will yield as I pass. As long as you act right they won't be anything more than curious.
Dogs will piss them off big time though, so keep the pets at home.
