Typing this from my phone, woke up today and my computer says hard disk drive failure, I reboot and it makes kind of a grinding sound on startup and goes back to a black screen that says hard disk drive failure, tried legacy boot mode and tried reinstalling windows and it says I have no drives to save to.
Does this mean I'm fucked and need a new computer? I don't have another one to look shit up from and I only really use my phone for making calls so using it to look around the Web is.really frustrating.

Well the entire computer isn't fucked, just the hard drive apparently. Sucks, I know, but it happens...

So I just have to order a new one or go somewhere and buy it and reinstall?
Idc about losing any thing, I don't keep anything of value or worthwhile on it

Yeah, a new one is in order. They're pretty simple to install though. And it's good you didn't have anything worthwhile on it as that's pretty much toast now. GL in any case.

you need a new HDD. they arent very expensive(depends on how much memeory/special features the drive has), and they're pretty easy to install by yourself.
if your hearing a grinding noise though, the data on that drive is either lost, or is gonna cost alot of money to recover.

assuming you need a SATA HDD(the most common, by faaar)
if your on a desktop, any will work, whether its 2.5" or 3.5"
if its a laptop you need a 2.5"
i personally like western digitals brand, but any brand will do

Might be a good time to upgrade to a solid state drive since your old drive is dead. The performance increase is worth the few extra bucks.

It's a system 32 error. You have to delete system 32 to fix it.
