Mushroom identification help! Extreme bluing!

Hello all!
I found a patch of these funky little red mushrooms growing at my friends house in Pa, at lake Wallenpaupack. I split one open and the yellow interior blued instantly and very intensely. I was wondering if you guys could help me identify it and if its active and edible or not. Thanks!

Maybe http://www.mushroomexpert.com/boletus_dupainii.html But I think you may need a microscope and various chemical reagents to get a solid ID.
I got to this part of the key on mushroomexpert.com "50. Mushroom identifier willing to accept that the remaining species are insufficiently defined, poorly documented, interpreted differently by various authors, and in desperate need of a thorough, contemporary revision."
"50. Mushroom identifier clings to species concepts that are over 40 years old and did not work very well even when they were contemporary."

That's a non active and most likely poisonous bolete.
