The best years in entertainment
    #22126980 - 08/22/15 01:31 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

I know we all have a different opinion on when the best entertainment was released, but I think the next few years have me more excited than I've ever been

It all starts with James Bond in November. After that I've got my eyes open for:

-Star Wars Episodes 7-9
-X-Files Season 10
-Deadpool
-Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
-Avengers Infinity Wars (Parts 1&2)
-Independence Day 2
-Batman vs. Superman
-Miles Ahead
-Sherlock Holmes 3
-Goosebumps
-Zoolander 2
-Avatar 2

I know I'm missing some but this is the list I can come up with as we speak. Hollywood had some down years but it looks like they're finally getting it right. Deadpool looks so righteous

The best years in entertainment?
The best years in movies were the 70;s. Network, Bonnie and Clyde. Godfather I and II, Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, Apocalypse Now, Deer Hunter, Rocky (cause other people liked it) The Exorcist, One Flew Over the Cucoo Nests, Clockwork Orange,Deliverance, China Town, The Sting. Papillion. Dog Day Afternoon, Kramer vs Kramer, Mash, The French Connection, Last Tango in Paris, Serpico, Dirty Harry, Manhattan, The Conversataion, Marathon Man, The last picture Show, Straw Dogs, Patton, Being There, Caberat, and I left out a lot of other good ones.
Every other decade is a joke, maybe the 60's could make an argument.

Musically, the 60's and some of the 70's were good. The 80's mostly suck. The early 90's were a good comeback. After that IDK; a lot of it confuses me, and I listen to a lot of obscure alt country and mid level punk bands

The worst thing about corruption is that it works so well,

Agreed with Brian Jones. Although only thing I would differ on is that I find all decades have really excellent films but maybe just not quite on par with the quality & quantity of the excellent one's in the 70's.
