How does an atheist explain how everything all got here...
same way as a religious person, with "bla bla bla"
nobody knows - or can know. it is literally beyond knowing. some idea's say the big bang was a singularity, and laws of physics break down @ singularity's, thus the true nature is truly unknowable.

I don't buy into the big bang as just a spontaneous beginning of everything. Something had to have already been there in order for it to bang.

One of the greatest questions ever posed. Even if there was something there - where did that come from, etc. The only thing I think is that the Universe is infinite, with no beginning or end, it is and forever was. This idea of course extends beyond the big bang, which of course has a finite set of time (as we know it) that happened afterwards. What came before is anybody's guess.. I saw one theory that a 4 dimensional star simply existed in some other multi/universe and supernova'd and thus the big bang occurred and our 3D space is inside of it's singularity. Who knows.
If however the Big Bang WAS a spontaneous beginning of everything.. well then that is just mind numbingly profound, though I find this unlikely as everything seems to occur in a type of fractal fashion.. universes inside universes inside universes, etc. I think the 'space' outside our universe is unmeasurably large -

Atheism is also a belief under the umbrella of which one might feel it is likely there is no God according to the common sense It doesn't absolutely discount the idea of higher powers being namely aliens in the greatness of the universe of which a size can not be rightly measured

interesting beliefs there. kinda stupid though considering there is no way you could possibly know about God or that there is/isn't one.

as usual you've taken offence to nothingness incarnate (somehow), and will Atheist-glide away from (nothing). PS: you said nothing to begin with too; is this like a new fad for you, or something...i mean nothing.

Except for the fact that one's peers constantly remind him of a need to recognize one

i wouldn't consider the religious and Atheists "peers", not by a long-shot.

the fact that you can't even stand discussion about Atheism/Theism, and react to it like Garlic to a Vampire, means you aren't fit to be an Atheist to begin with, or at least discuss your deeply held beliefs, rhetorically speaking.

What? I never said I wanted no part in a discussion, just that depressingly this one devolved to the usual level of inane opinionated drugery that it usually does. besides since its pretty much impossible to come up with substantial arguments for the existence of a diety -and also impossible to disprove- it seems a much more interesting to discuss the utility of belief rather than its accuracy.

You may spend too much time on the webz In real life people consider themselves to be peers with plenty folk who may stray outside their own school of thought

it devolved? as soon as it stopped featuring Bill for awhile it got a whole lot more evolved, i'd wager...i'd wager you just don't like people taking the opposing sides here to your own.
seeing as no one has mentioned anything about their beliefs being accurate save Bill, whom is gone again, as far as i can tell; so i have to presume it's not that this discussion is devolving, just that it's not featuring your exact stance on the issue, which oddly enough you haven't even given so....

peers in the sense that you know one another, associate or are friends perhaps, but not peers in the same schools of thought, hence the words that i used.
