I have a San Pedro cactus I got from Lowe's it's been growing nicely now I wan to grow a cutting. I took a small tip cutting but idk how long I should let the cut callous over (or if I even should). Any help would be great! Also any tips for growing San Pedro would be appreciated.

definitely let it callous before sticking it in soil. i usually don't plant them until i see roots starting. or i just throw them on top of some other pot until i notice them rooting, and give them their own space.
just be patient, it might take awhile. you can't force it to happen, so don't try watering it or anything like that before it has roots.

Ive gotten three of my san pedro including my huge monstrose at lowes. Never find anything at HD.
Let it callous for at least 3 weeks. Then you can stick it upright in an empty clay pot, or in dry (DRY. not damp, moist.) soil. It should begin showing roots between a week (best case) to a few months (worst case). From cut to roots, it usually takes 4-7 weeks for me.

Yeah, but is it a Lowes in Texas or something where you might expect to find San Pedro? I'm in TN and never found any goodies at Lowes.
