Help identifying this shroom from manure in Argentina
    #22123613 - 08/21/15 05:32 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Found this ones in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina, in horse or cow manure in a farm a few hundred mts from the coast, it was the 15th of august after a week of rains and one day of sun. There were no trees in the area for a few hundred meters, the first ones were pine trees.

I did a lot of research and is different to all the Panaeolus Cinctulus because of the brown reddish stem. It has a perfectly shaped brown greyish cap.

I eat a little one to do a test and it made my hands a bit numb and made me salivate but maybe it was because I was anxious. I know I shouldn´t have done that without enough research.

After researching a lot in the internet I found similarities to: Panaeolus sphinctrinus or Panaelous papilionaceus and Panaeolus fimicola.
Some info about them say they are eadible sand are not halucigenic and some say they are.

Habitat: Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina a few hundred yards from the sea growing from manure in a pasture terrain a few hundred yards from coniferous.

Gills: Dark brown to black, not attached

Stem: 5 to 6 cm, hollow and thin, reddish, with vertical lines and white hairs,

Cap: 2 to 3 cm, greyish beige, smooth, conical, with a more vertical part in the lowest part from the ground

Spore print color: Didn´t do one but asume that it would be dark brown to black
Very important!

Bruising: Didn´t see but asume it would be black

Does someone know about them?
Thanks

That's what I suspect. I think I actually see some veil reminisce in that pic. Also the bulbous shape of it.

Are they edible, do you trip on them?

They are probably something you could eat in a pinch, but my general rule is not to eat things growing out of shit unless you really need to for some reason.
