10 days before sparse pins

It's been 10 days after birthing cakes on my second brf attempt and I finally have a couple of pins but there are very few. My first attempt went great and was very fruitful and I had pinning after just a couple days. I haven't changed anything about my setup, same conditions and terrarium. I have misted and fanned regularly (4-5 times minimum per day) and everything seems normal. I know every batch is most likely to turn out different so is this just an example of that or could there be an underlying cause? What are some of the reasons pinning might take longer than usual? I'm sure this is probably normal but thought it might be a good learning opportunity to at least gain some insight. Thanks!

Every individual spore in that syringe has different genetics. You got a different set of genetics this go around. That's why we work with agar and clone.

That's what I figured. I am reading up and researching agar, cloning and isolation, so hopefully I will be on that step pretty soon. Seems simpler than it did when I first started researching. On the surface it sounds a little intimidating! Thanks for the advice!
