What's your take on Alex Grey's art?

Some of Alex Grey’s paintings consist of a figure with his head curved outwards instead of inwards so that wherever the figure looks is already from himself. Are they depictions of sollipcism? I don’t know what Alex Grey wanted to depict when he did them but I recently smoked some powerful weed & got hooked on a concept which I’d like to call silly now.
What if existence was a bubble of spectrum projected by our collective consciousness and we are in fact all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively through part of the spectrum which we call reality, and when we are looking at it, we are actually looking at ourselves, or rather a reflection of ourselves just like in Alex Grey’s paintings. Whatever we perceive is a projection of our own consciousness.
And so when we use psychedelics, a greater part of the spectrum becomes perceivable to the beam of our now expanded consciousness. And that’s also why we tend to notice externally what matches our internal state. When we are happy, we see happiness. When we’re sad, we see sadness. As within so without. We don’t see the world as it is, we see the world as we are.

I think there is one hell of a lot of truth to that statement.

It's crazy but I sometimes think that I'd rather not deal with dmt, shrooms or lsd because nowadays, with just some weed it feels like I'm tripping. I tend to get so hooked on a concept that I literally get on a mental trip with even CEVs sometimes. I even hallucinated a whole cartoon scenery the other day. I'm really starting to question my sanity

Kinda corny I don't feign to be interested much in art though - I just like what I like.

I quite like alex grey, thouh its not hard to see why hes ignored by anyone into 'serious' art (which is a load of shit more often than not). Hes also a very skilled painter, which of course doesnt matter nowdays either to art types but hey, fuck them
