How I get my crude cacti extract ready for my AB extractions

If you have a decent amount of cactus I would remove the core but leave everything else(even white spots are good as long as it isn't core) dice it and blend it slightly and boil the hell out of it(very hot 45 mins a pull) use a clean shirt to strain. I drape one in a spaghetti strainer and just drop the pulp on in. Add a couple splashes of vinegar for each of the three pulls adding additional vinegar each pull, keep adding water all along the way to keep it wet and boiling. It burns quickly so don't walk away and don't let it get dry it needs to be sloppy Then take the juice from your pulls and evaporate it as much as you can safely(I boil mine down to a manageable amount of sludge in a pot and then pour it into a Pyrex to dry safely over a pot of boiling water) once you have done that you take the mostly dry material and you do the 3 step easy citrate recipe exactly to a tee. I use vinegar for the acid is the only difference. It seems to work great and consistently produces results.
Hope this helps.

Is there some hidden joke in that image I'm missing? Pretty sure I saw you post it earlier tonight and don't really understand what it's supposed to mean.

That may have been slightly harsh. But only slightly

I really feel this method gives you the best product to extract from as it has very little wax.
Water, at the ratios used for AB extractions, will readily disolve this product so you don't need to wait for the lye to break your cactus down.
Cactus along takes a while to break down and release it's alkaloids so you need to do multiple pulls to get all of the alkaloids. With this crude water soluable extract I can get 90% of the alkaloids maybe more within the first 2 pulls. I'm left with almost nothing on the third pull. Cactus holds onto the alkaloids well, my crude extract doesn't because it turns into all liquid tea no chunks.
The reason this happens is because the crude extract is already broken up and releases it's alkaloids immediately after it's disolved so you don't need to wait so long, like you need to with cactus.
Adding the vinager to each pull makes the alkaloids more water soluable and makes it easier to extract them with less time/heat/effort.
Long winded I know but I had to explain why this is the best method IMO.

this really is the best place to post some kind of tech plus there are plenty of guides to do what you are doing on this site. no one is trying to learn about extractions in the pub.

That's your opinion and if I helped one person then it's worth it mescaline is amazing and I've never seen such a detailed description on how to prep the cactus right without working to hard this is my spin on it. I can post what I like to post! Haha
