Terence McKenna everyone * 1
    #22116704 - 08/20/15 01:16 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Please enjoy.

--------------------
How to get started in bulk:
Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker
BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box
PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek
Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series
How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs)
What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain)
Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary)
Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful)
Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

Don't call people stupid because they like to listen to stuff you don't. Terrance is fun to listen to.

It's okay, it's normal these days for people to call things (or other people) stupid that they don't understand.

It's not a comprehension problem. Its a "this is complete bullshit" problem. There's a distinct difference

TM inspired me to expand my vocabulary & my general knowledge of things. Dude lived a interesting life, I need to read his books sometime soon. I have watched/listened to countless hours of him on youtube. Haters can hate on him but dude was a serious badass who did what he wanted to do.

Terence McKenna was a prophet.

And people love to critize him about the whole novelty 2012 thing. The thing is, I actually believe he was right about that. The only thing he got wrong was what was going to happen. He was also 2 years late.

McKenna just perceived the 2012 thing to be more than it was. Something DID happen around that time, like he predicted.

Its just that it occurred in 2014 instead of 2012, and instead of humans moving into the next dimension..marijuana was legalized for the first time.

He just screwed up the scale of what was to come, and missed it by 2 years. That's all.

McKenna said 2012 would be the "end...or the beginning, it's unclear." At least the video I saw he said that, you could be talking about something else.

But he did say he wasn't a prophet, he was just a witness.

There isn't much of a difference between a prophet and a witness.

And when I say prophet..i mean "prophet-like tendencies". Obviously we are all the same and nobody is more important than the other. It is our actions that define us. It was his actions that gave him prophet-like tendencies.

Did you just find out about Terence McKenna lmao? Dude that's like psychedelics 101 but anyway you shouldn't take in all of McKenna's philosophy as defacto. I remember when I was brand new to here I was like " McKenna is so awesome" expecting everyone to agree with me but a lot of people on here think McKenna is a whack job. I'm not one of them because I find his insight to have been quite valuable and he is a good guide for me when I trip but I don't think he was perfect and he indeed did have some wacky ideas that are a bit out there.

The ones that dismiss McKenna as a whack job, haven't read 1/10 of the books hes read. Tripped 1/10 as much as he has. Travelled 1/10 as much as he has. Accomplished 1/10 as much as he has. Helped/appreciated nature 1/10 as much as he has.

People who do not like McKenna are either jealous, ignorant, or jealous and ignorant.
