    #2211612 - 12/31/03 01:03 PM (14 years, 5 months ago)

Hi Shroomers,

Yesterdays nature walk didnt yeild many fungus finds. Unfortunately.

But i did find a few.

Here i think i might have found the edible-to-edible with caution, Laccaria laccata.
They were found on a sandy and grassy trail.
The spore prints are a bright white.

I now present to you the amazing, the one and only, the not completely positively identified, and the great, Laccaria laccata:

Behold, in all its glory:

They certainly look to be Laccarias, at least. I know that none of the species of Laccaria are poisonous - from a talk by a French specialist in Laccarias a few years ago.

Happy mushrooming!
