Fungal Infection???? Is my Cake Dead?

Well my cakes seem to be all blue after i dunked them overnight...

Not sure if its some kind of infection or not..

I hear often that sometimes the cake will turn blue after a period of dunking.

I'm no expert, but if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it.

Probably just bruising from handling it -- you're fine. Just leave it alone in your fruiting chamber and let it recover.

i don't see anything wrong with this cake yet. yes, sometimes blueing is a preview of worse things to come, but anytime you handle a cake, you will get bruising.
