You edited your post BEFORE you bumped your thread with a new post, clearly demonstrating that you know how to use the edit feature, but didn't.  What.. happened here?

If that has a casing layer it's probably fine to be in fruiting.  How many days?

Ouch, if that's ten days there's probably a problem. Did you mix the grains up real well and then add a psuedo-casing? (Top layer)

Ahh.

Just wait it out. I did a similar thing on my first ever mono and it produced great. Just wait it out until it looks white or stalls for a few days and fruit it.

Next time mix it together well :super:

You should have mixed the grain spawn thoroughly. I don't really think that this is going to turn out good for you. But, you can always wait and see what happens...

Do whatever, if it's been 10 days it's either ready to fruit, or there's a problem.  Either way, you'll find out soon.  Leave it how it is.

the mycelium that is at the top is the same as on the bottom it'll use the nutrients evenly across the whole substrate....right  :uhoh:

I can't tell you that.

Wait till it stalls or goes all white  Depends on how aggressive your culture is and where exactly your grains are.

tasmanians are supposed to be a extremely aggressive colonizer

but im not convinced on the fully white thing because casings dont have to be fully white

???

Did you case or add a top layer bro? If you added a top layer on the exposed grains then yes, it goes fully white. If you cased you wait until 30%.

There are two different layers. Psuedo-Casing (Which is the top layer on the exposed grains during colonization for an even substrate and to prevent grains from drying out) and a casing (the micro-climate you can fruit immediately or get to 30% and then fruit). You have a psuedo-casing brotha, you have to wait for that to go 100% white and then case or just fruit it.

He said he cased it Gyo, what are you on about?  Read the first post.

Though I guess it's up to him to tell us what he cased it with and when.  A casing layer of CVG is just a psuedo casing if you apply it during the spawn run.

I suppose I was assuming he didn't do that.

Hmm... even then, if it's that far through a peat casing I'd say it'd good for fruiting.

I don't think that's when you're supposed to apply a casing though, for future reference.  Though if it works, can't argue..

That's where I got confused lol. I thought he was asking if it was time to apply a casing.

I'd def fruit that then, it's probably all white underneath that.

Last time I checked it was summer...
Contams are more rampant during this season.. Due to it being the hottest of the four temperament seasons.

Vert can easily get brought home by the cultivator on his/her clothing etc.

Pasty was just saying vert is death. I never realized culting in summer sucked so much lol. But then again even growing weed is easier/better in the winter because you don't have to worry about heat as much if you run 1000ws.

I see what I think is bacteria out the game, heavy balling like that is always an issue. It also looks wet as fuck in there.

I can't be 100% sure if I have or not but I've never had anything looking like what OP has.  If that's 100% vert and nothing else I'll eat a sock.

Stop f'ing with the casing and let it grow.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Do you use agar? 'Cause you need to clean up your innoculant. I promise it's not supposed to look like that.

Low fae, bacteria, and mycogone are infecting your substrates. Especially:

moehd said:

All of these are problems of not only needing to do agar work, but also having a high co2 environment. Work on your chamber man. Adjust the poly or something. They need much more fae, and probably more light too (small ass caps).

Just need to adjust poly. Fanning doesnt replace fae. Keep it glistening/damp with no pooling water (droplets are fine). Some days I don't mist because it's glistening. Other days I mist twice because it's dry. Just mist when needed and adjust poly as needed.

Some tubs don't need to be misted until 2nd flush. It's really all about just misting when needed.
