You edited your post BEFORE you bumped your thread with a new post, clearly demonstrating that you know how to use the edit feature, but didn't.  What.. happened here?

If that has a casing layer it's probably fine to be in fruiting.  How many days?

Ouch, if that's ten days there's probably a problem. Did you mix the grains up real well and then add a psuedo-casing? (Top layer)

Ahh.

Just wait it out. I did a similar thing on my first ever mono and it produced great. Just wait it out until it looks white or stalls for a few days and fruit it.

Next time mix it together well :super:

You should have mixed the grain spawn thoroughly. I don't really think that this is going to turn out good for you. But, you can always wait and see what happens...

Do whatever, if it's been 10 days it's either ready to fruit, or there's a problem.  Either way, you'll find out soon.  Leave it how it is.

the mycelium that is at the top is the same as on the bottom it'll use the nutrients evenly across the whole substrate....right  :uhoh:

I can't tell you that.

Wait till it stalls or goes all white  Depends on how aggressive your culture is and where exactly your grains are.

tasmanians are supposed to be a extremely aggressive colonizer

but im not convinced on the fully white thing because casings dont have to be fully white

???

Did you case or add a top layer bro? If you added a top layer on the exposed grains then yes, it goes fully white. If you cased you wait until 30%.

There are two different layers. Psuedo-Casing (Which is the top layer on the exposed grains during colonization for an even substrate and to prevent grains from drying out) and a casing (the micro-climate you can fruit immediately or get to 30% and then fruit). You have a psuedo-casing brotha, you have to wait for that to go 100% white and then case or just fruit it.

He said he cased it Gyo, what are you on about?  Read the first post.

Though I guess it's up to him to tell us what he cased it with and when.  A casing layer of CVG is just a psuedo casing if you apply it during the spawn run.

I suppose I was assuming he didn't do that.
