Habitat: I found these mushrooms growing outside in Iowa, they were growing in a pasture that never got cleaned up so they are growing in the dung and wood chips last laid down. Gills: Light brown gills Stem:
A few inches in length and skinny, smooth texture, thin Cap: silky cap, almost relates to a potato skin in color
Spore print color: Not sure what this means.

They look like one of the toxic Conocybe to me.

I was doing a lot of research on them and I was hoping them to be panaeolus subs but not enough experience. And what do you mean not active?

If you are going to ask that question...then I postulate this...why are you looking for pan subs?
Also, if you studied enough you would have learned that pan subbs have jet black spores, those do not.
I think you may have just skimmed the cliff notes if that...

Easy bruv, we were all beginners once. They're aren't pan subs and "active" means it has active compounds/is psychoactive

Me? Huh...was I harsh? He asked what active meant and then proceeded to tell me he was looking for an active. Sorry for my rudeness...

I hadn't heard the term "actives" used for hallucinogenic mushrooms until I found this site and I had already read about them quite extensively before that
