Yes. Many of these ingredients were not approved for human consumption. And while eating organs is generally not an issue, there's always an inherent risk associated with it. Also, there's not much you'll gain from eating those pills.

I took a few of my cats blood pressure pills since I ran out of propanolol. I'm fine, was more effective too
It's not because it's labeled for a certain thing that the chemical is inherently bad for humans.

Have you read the list of ingredients beanhead? Your statement is sort of valid in general, but not in every case.

You can take cyanide capsules if you want to, question is, why? As Chris Rock says, you can drive a car with your feet if you want to, that don't make it a good fucking idea.

Some of you people are daft.
Use your imagination. Why would someone possibly take an 'immune system support' pill? Darwin Award? Seriously? The one or two that gave good, relevant advice, thanks!

Pretty much my question exactly. Why? Do you got the AIDS?
Meds for pets aren't held to the same standard as meds for people. China exports a bunch of poisoned dog food that kills dogs, no one really gives a shit, they exported a bunch of poisoned food for people, there's a lot of shit given.

Hm, yeah, good point. No i dont have the hiv. Just wondering, since my pussy cant/ wont take em, can I?
I've shot up with goat syringes, eaten dog food (dry) when homeless. Taken an 'enzyme' pill (for us humans) that was supposed to help digestion and had, I think, many similar ingredients.
I mean, I kinda guessed the 'quality control' part, but was curious about the ingredients.

And these aren't approved pet meds. They're an animal version of a dietary supplement. Given that human dietary supplements have (effectively) zero standards, they can't be much better.
Overall, the pills are likely to be complete bunk. However, most of the ingredients appear to be rather innocuous. However these could be filled with chalk for all you know.

Quality control part is more important than the ingredients. Without quality control, the ingredient list is worthless. No telling what's really in them. There are also a number of illnesses that can afflict humans but not cats. Our systems are a little more refined and sensitive. I don't know if any of those ingredients would be in that category, but it is something to take into consideration. You just go eating random birds and you're probably going to end up sick. Your cat can do it all day long though.
