laws & talking about drugs?
    #2210767 - 12/31/03 12:10 AM (12 years, 11 months ago)

many people when posting will do the whole, "friend of a friend" thing to leave a loop hole in case the shit hits the fan right?. but is it even illegal to admit you have done drugs in the past? i keep a journal on a personal web site of mine, and i'm curious if i should be afraid to post anything that talks of intentional drug use?

No I don't think it's illegal to admit you've done them...but the risk is that if the Man knows you HAVE done drugs...he's going to think (know) that you STILL do drugs. Then he might come to take your stash away...

What you know you can't explain,
But you feel it;
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is, but it's there....
Like a splinter in your mind...
Driving you mad.

I don't think that are any laws that prohibit drug use other than Public Intoxication or Driving Under the Influence.

The laws only prohibit possession.

So managing to stumble and land face first in a pile of coke, and accidently snorting a bunch while recovering yourself isn't illegal?
I'ma go find me a pile o chemicals...

That?s a common misconception.

People are actually talking about the Shroomery poster named afoaf. He does that much drugs.

aparently you arent aware of the laws concerning 'possession by consumption'. Mos states have passed laws of this nature because of people swallowing their crack, if they fing any amount of a controlled substance in your system, through blood, urine, fingernails or hair samples you can be charged with possession by consumption or injestion. I have known 2 people already convicted on this one and one had given up smoking weed just a couple of weeks earlier so he could pass a drug screen for a job at a pharmaceuticles company. the arrest blew those chances.

Why did the cops drug test him in the first place?

No I hadn't heard of that. I admit, when I did look into that before it was some time ago, so maybe the laws have changed.

Possession by consumption may only apply to minors.

When i got busted for simple possession for weed the officer tried to get me to go take a blood test and i simple told him that i would not allow him to add a dui to my charges for something i may or may not have done, and that was that he droped it but only after he asked me to drop my pants so they could make sure i didnt have anything taped to my legs, which i then told him that i didnt have any underwear on and he forced me to do so in a public parking lot in front of him a female officer and the whole public to see my goods, which ended up with me having to pay a $103.75 ticket (and hgaving a kottonmouth king cd stolen from me by the offending officer) that did not go on my record because of the invoultary strip search.

But here's the best part a few weeks later i got my revenge and my cd back. The cop came through the Hardee's drive threw where i worked and ordered some food. lets just say that he got a smeely burger fresh off the cooks ass.

Yeah i could have an the tiny sounthern town where it happened would have made it very misreasble for me....well they did it anyways why I moved. And as far as the ticket goes i figured i deserved it because i had tagged the chamber of commerce in town and didnt get busted costed them $108 to repaint, so i marked it off as karma. And the strip search was punishment for both of us im sure unless that cop was gay......... And another thing im not one who beleaves in people sueing for every little thing and i cant really stand people who do. Now granted there are extuniating circustances that you should be able to sue for and that be the endangering of your life and in this case my life was not in danger. And as i siad in the last post they did knock my punishment down from the jail time bigger fine and cort cost i would have gotten and it didnt go on my record. So as you see every thing evened out KAR MA OWNS!

Urine tests, blood tests and such generally consitute illegal search and seizure.  They can't force you to provide self-incriminating evidence.  At least that's how it is up here in Canada.  I imagine it's different if you're on parole though.
