Just some images from my grow, no questions. this images are the universe's respond to my prayers probably
these are Psilocybe Subaeruginosa, showing germination and healthy mycelium growth, after giving up completely.
the jars were inoculated on July 22 , along other stuff, card-boards, and wood chips. (grains: corn, millet, wheat, each 2 jar, to be more sure about the mycelium taste and acceptance for germination obsession rules my mind, I know) none of them showed germination signs after waiting for two weeks. and two weeks were enough for them to show mycelium. cause I used syringes for inoculation, so the spores were hydrated enough. (and none of jars/media showed contams.) So I re-sterilized the jars, and once again, using the same syringe and spores, inoculated them on August 6 (last hope, final attempt)
after waiting for 7 days and no myc, thought the spores were not viable. was going to toss the grains in jars away, and reuse them for another strain inoculation, but suddenly saw very little signs of fluffy white mycelium, barely visible. real hope boost.
so after a day, and they became like this :
wheat jar :

corn jar :

And now, after a week (totally 13-14 days from inoc. date) :
millet jar :

Corn jar :

So the motto, Never give up on grows.

So.... Uhhhh.... You inoculated PS.Subaeruginosa into grain jars with a ms syringe...
Woah.

why? cause agar is the safest (or maybe the only) germination media for Subaeruginosa ? if that's the case, i consider myself lucky

abs-fuckin-lutely.
yesterday transferred a few grains to wet card-boards in petri dishes. this is a close up of a wheat with myc, on the wet cardboard in petri :

and tomorrow I'm gonna go and look for wood chips. there's plenty of cut-and-abandoned trees around city, so probably it's gonna be a hard day of turning big ass tree trunks into wood chips.
and since the summers hotness here last for a few next month, Do you think I can fruit them this year ?

And this is the same grain after finding out it's on cardboard and hugging it :

and his brothers on another cardboard :

btw, today found many dry trunks of wild olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia), gonna chop em off into chips tonight. the wood is hard as stone !

yesterday's pics, same petri.
I can see the daily difference in its growth over the petri
and yesterday I boiled around 3 Kg wood-chips for 1 hr , divided them into 3 parts, bagged them, and poured the colonized millet grains in bags and gave em a little shake. grains already show recovery after this transfer and have became fluffy again inside the bags.
medium woodchips size (more were smaller) :

Mine germinated on agar in just a few days from a print, and was contam free, and remains so, it is now time for me to transfer them to grain, and then to wood. It would be great if they fruited this year but I have my doubts about the possibility.

2 days later, same petri :
........
won't update this thread with petri pics anymore.(feels repetitive). when the chips are colonized, will post the pics. (and hopefully, the outdoor patch and other stuff too)
BTW, do you know what are those concentric circles on myc around the grain ? Is it because of day/night different lighting conditions, affecting the myc growth ?
love you all.
