Bernie vs hillary

So recently Bill Maher said that he thought hillary would get the democrat nomination. Normally hes pretty reasonable with this but this seems silly? He loves bernie aswell. Even though bernie is more popular and doing better in the polls hillary will still get the vote?
Or is there some silly murica law where politicans pick who gets the nomination instead of the people.

There seems to be a lot of dirty pool in our election processes. Hillary is definitely more of an "establishment" candidate, which I think does give her some unfair advantages (like media coverage and corporate donors). I like to think Bernie has a shot though. It's still pretty early in the game and he's definitely gaining.

It's been surprising to see Bernie's rise, to say the least. I always saw him as a wing nut and never thought he would be seen as a credible contender. Stuff like this is typical for the Republican field where it seems like each nominee gets a few weeks in the limelight before promptly being buried in mud, but not so much for the Democrats. I feel like Hilary hasn't even gone into campaign mode yet.

Non Americans do seem to have a bizarre fascination with America sometimes.

Even foreigners find foreign politics boring. American politics is the big leagues, baby. We got people who matter making decisions that matter. Completely unlike most if not all foreign affairs, which are of zero relevance to anyone

Being the sole remaining superpower kind of has that effect. Give it a few years, and before you know it we'll be paying much more attention to Chinese politics.

I dunno about that. The shitstorm in Europe right now is pretty interesting but I think they'd rather talk abut the mote in our eye than the beam in theirs.

Its because murica has no concern for other countries and is a selfish prick. Only cares about there own self intrests. You have no idea the effects you have on other countries. So its nice to know whether or not the world is going to end because you elect a potato

I would vote for a potato over most career politicians.

It's gotta suck living in some downtrodden hellhole overrun with cane toads and mice, but instead of focusing on America, maybe you could put in some effort into your homeland? Put down the Foster's and DO something.

hillary has a huge voter base that is only voting for her because she's a woman. it wouldn't surprise me at all if she beats out bernie, even though her/her campaign is a complete travesty
