I just picked this up at home depot. The label says trichocereus pachanoi cristata. What do you guys think? Is it the real deal?

Looks like it, but it looks like it is reverting... I think it still has the chance to start cresting again.

One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree.
'Which road do I take?' she asked.
'Where do you want to go?' was his response.
'I don't know', Alice answered.
'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'

Looks like san pedro to me. It's got the spine bumps facing upwards. And has four spines per cuticle thing so yeah that's it IMO
6 to 7 ridges is very common with san pedro. Cool find. How much did it cost? jw

it was 20$. They also had 3 more just like it all the same size. I got this one because it has a normal column growing on one side. They also had some 16" trichocereus grandiflorus.

Go there and buy the other ones. As I understand in the USA pachs are more expensive than in Europe. That should not be considered as a crest,  since it will soon turn out to be a 4 column cluster.  That is not a bad thing anyway,  and it's still something really cool to see  (and faster to grow , compared to real crests.)
20 bucks is definitely a fair price. It probably whorts more.

I've search all the big box stores in the past to try and find one but ive never had any luck. Just the shitty ones with the flowers glued to it. I think that one will look awesome once it gets a little taller. Thanks for the input guys
