I paid €2700 for a 2002 model 23.000 km.

I ride in full gear 99% of the time. All the time on this one.

My other bike is Honda Shadow 600 which is more like a moped in comparison to this beast.

To me this is wicked fast and powerful and its not even that powerful and fast

Not true.  You have to be pristine to ride.  Nothing.  No booze at all, no pot, no nothing.  You have to be 100%.  And even then there is a good chance you will get fucked up because of other drivers.  Suicide machines

Ya I agree with zap, I've driven intoxicated before, it's much easier. I never hopped on the bike at anything less then %100 sober. It takes a lot more coordination and awareness

When you crash you will regret ever buying a bike. I crashed one once.

Edit, when you crash because of something you have no power over, old lady pulling out in front of you at the last second- what happened to me.

Were you injured from the crash?? I was lucky enough that nothing like that ever happened to me. All the times I nearly crashed were most definitely my fault and as a result of hooning and taking risks

As far as I know, none.  There are a short few.  All but one were caused by some asshole driving into me.  One of them I fucked up.  Thay also almost all involved a left turn.  Except for the ice ones

20k is nothing on a bike. Hardly worn in. Your just perpetuating the myth that bikes dont last long. The reason why you dont see high km is because they get totaled.

Luckily i didnt get any serious injury and I wasn't even wearing a helmet. I t-boned her suv car at 35 mph, got shoved over the front of my bike sorta into her side window. I got some cuts, scrapes and bruises on my legs.

I was lucky compared to the other friends who crashed their bikes. Shattered hip bones, broken spines, swelling skulls. When you ride a bike you're playing russian roulette with every car around you. No helmet or protective gear will save you from the horrors of motorcycle traffic accidents. If you don't die from the average crash you'll be fucked with medical bills and recovery.

Don't ride motorcycles if you plan on living to a healthy old age.

I work with a guy that has 180k on his bike because he rides rain or shine. the
only thing that stops him is his girlfriend when the roads are icy but he's
been in with it well under freezing. the secret is, dont be a dumbass and take

Nice bike OP... though I have never rode one I like the 919 due its more upright posture and cheaper on insurance (sport touring not a sport bike)

A friend of mine had a kawi z1000 which I did ride and it was a very nice and fairly fast as well...

Ive been in 4 accidents on the 2 crotch rockets I've owned and id totally buy another one if my lady wouldn't leave me over it. I rode year round and loved it minus the salt and sand on the rodeos in the winter.

Yeah I am digging it. Bought it specifically for the upright position as I am using it to commute once maybe twice a week.

I thought it was pretty sweet deal. So sweet actually that I now have two bikes instead of selling one off first.

It came with almost new tires, dual sports exhaust, front led signal lights and internal back signal lights. Most bikes I came across second hand had double the mileage and started at about €700 more

This is my other bike:

Someday I would like a Harley. Bobber style with an ape-hanger just for cruising around town

Thats import here so ridiculously expensive
