Bluing happens if the Myc dries out and is rehydrated or is exposed to direct sunlight or freezing temps.

You might be a little late in this season. Have a go during the fall might get lucky.

Very nice. I've found just tossing old caps can be enough to knock up substrate from wild areas, garden beds, and even indoor planters.

it would look like ovoid mycelium is totally fully black metal. I don't know if the worm ate the mycelium or the mycelium caught up with him. I do know while looking for pins I saw him struggling last night and today the mycelium looks like it has ripped through it.

Does anyone know for sure if this species for sure also fruits in the fall for sure? I'm guessing if so that its not at all like in the spring. Anyone experience any fall finds?

Yes....they fruit in Central Maryland around the last week of October...my fall finds have always been more potent than the spring ones for some reason.

New idea: Hunting dog trained to seek the smell of Ovoid Mycelium / Fruits. Sounds reasonable right?
For right now : Prayers for rain here in 'The Real', literal, Central PA.
Been working on cubes for 'study' of all things lately...of all things, outdoor, quite exotic by comparison. With temps staying consistently in the 80s, why not.
