All politicians are assholes, trump just doesn't lie and read from the script, that's the main difference. Bitchlary would be the worst without a doubt. I would take Bernie second after trump because I think trump might clean things up. He wont take any shit from the Chinese, he won't go starting wars but he will throw their asses right out if they don't act right. Along with the illegals, he he.

I had a terrible nightmare last night. I was at the press conference where a Trump produced MMORPG was announced. It was fucking terrifying. Seriously fucked up shit.

I've voted every election since I registered back in high school. Elections are bullshit, I really don't care who gets into office. Trump would be entertaining.

nooooo, noooo, no no no no no....
that being said, he is making a total mockery of the American political system, specifically the GOP, so I mean, at least it's entertaining?
Also whenever I see these types of exaggerated characters/personas that people have - especially IRL, but celebrities like Trump to...I just can't help but wonder if it's all an elaborate ruse.
I mean, that guy can't really be pursing his lips like that and saying all that shit, and wearing that hair piece and not laughing at all our stupid asses and going 'gotcha' in private?
..right?

I've been somewhat fascinated by his hair. Here is a man who is sooo fucking rich, and yet, he has that cringey hair.
I use to think it had to be a toupee but I could very well see it being an Advanced & complicated comb over that's grown out to hide a mature or partially receding hairline.
A bald head would actually fit him really well I think, makes me wonder if he had a hair transplant a long time ago and is covering up a scar.
If it was a toupee I think the texture would look a lot more natural.

Anyone who is going to pull the lever on amnesty and open borders must not be voted in. This is in fact NOT what the majority wants, and it is being pushed and sold as if that is the case. It's still early, but thank god Trump has sounded off on illegal immigration considering nobody else is or would.

That doesn't really mean much though. I'd say he's just taking a different strategy. I've seen time and time again how a president promises what he's going to do, and then is elected, and then totally reneges on what he said he was going to do. Actually pretty much all politicians do this. Campaign promises are what get them the votes.
So I don't really believe he's going to be any different despite how vocal he's being on a subject that could very well cost him the election. I think he's just banking on the fact that a very high portion or even a majority of Americans want to see a tougher stance on immigration and illegals. I don't buy for a second he's going to actually do anything about it if elected.
The only way I can see around this is if it's his own personal agenda, and I honestly don't know enough about his political beliefs to make any sound judgement on what his own agenda is. It does work both ways though. I 100% believe Hilary will crack down on gun control if she's elected. That's far from the only reason I don't want her as President, but I'd be lying if I said it has only a minimal impact. This is a major issue these days.
Guns are not the problem. The problem is crazy people who want to commit mass murder. How is that important? Well the fact that she wants to crack down on it, and is likely to do so, proves she doesn't have the first bit of understanding why all these mass shootings happen. This is a very basic concept and even I understand this. If she's not capable of realizing/admitting what I know, how much further is this ignorance going to go? You can't fix a problem until you understand why it is a problem. This is a very simple problem to understand (though I will grant it's not an easy one to fix) and she seemingly doesn't even understand this. She is no doubt going to face much more difficult problems.
I really see no ideal candidate. I'm not an avid politic follower, but I have read up a bit about every one of them as they've came up, and they all have major flaws. Usually in elections I at least have some idea on who I'd like to see as president, I really cannot come up with one this time.

It's too early to really get a handle on anybody's game plan, but Trump saying what the silent majority is thinking has him out in front. The nation is really getting tired of being lied to and having all these mystery laws whizzing by without a whisper of info to the public. That type of shit's tyrannical and shouldn't be happening in this country with our constitution.
Everyone is flocking to Trump because he's the opposite of what everyone is used to. I honestly think if we elect a democrat or rino this time around, here comes amnesty/open borders and it's over Johnny. We will have had OUR country handed away for democrat voters and cheap labor.
I wont drone on about politics here, but the fix is in with the republican party selling out since last years midterm. It is now common knowledge for those who are informed that 'We the People" no longer have any representation, and Trump is seen as the last bastion of hope to save this nation.

This is not only a terrifying thought, but what I believe to be a major problem in how we do things. We shouldn't be only figuring this shit out last minute (yes a little more than a year away, but in something like this, that is last minute). I get why things are the way they are, and why my idealistic opinion isn't practical, but I think the candidates should be determined years ahead of time. It's one thing to go back and look up quotes or articles or whatever and try to make a rational decision, it's another to eye a candidate you think conforms to what you want to see in charge, and be able to keep an eye on them over the "long term" (I use that loosely) to spot issues you might of never realized otherwise. This system leads to uninformed and hasty decisions.
It can be difficult holding a certain image for a year or so, but it's not all impossible. When you tack on another 3-7 (depending on if a president runs 2 terms and that the former candidates retain their place in the running) years, it's a lot easier to spot the faults.
As it stands, the general population has no idea on who to keep their eye on for the next election, until the next election is damn near on top of us. We can't just watch everyone who might even have a shot at running. List is way too expansive. I mean honestly, FFS, I never would have guessed Trump would ever be in the running.

I think all it really takes is a few changes to the ways things are being run right now to make a huge improvement, and unless we steer clear of those who are going to keep doing the same thing , we're doomed. There's seems to be a concerted effort to destroy this country on multiple levels, and once that stops we will be in good shape.

problem is congress, too many people are involved in passing laws. Lots of people = lots of chances to bribe. We really need to switch to a putin type system and just hope whoever gets into power has a big ego and a big heart. that way he can pass laws nobody likes and not care, yet do so with the best of intentions

I'm not giving congress any props, but things were designed to move slow so things don't get rushed through. The slow process and different branches are in place so there's a less likelyhood for a few bunch to grab all the power. That happens when your president has a phone and a pen, and wont hesitate for a second to executive action some law through that nobody has had time to look at.
We don't need more laws, we need better ones that have been given the proper time to process through. So many people jumping on congress and applauding the pres for his phone and pen, it's saddening.
