Pics of my second grow (cubensis monotub)

Here are a few pics from my second grow. I was able to harvest a few dried ounces from my first monotub despite not doing everything by-the-book. For my second time around, I am doing a standard monotub with spawn from rye grain jars inoculated with MS cubensis syringes. I noticed my first pins this morning, and these pics were taken this evening.
Critiques and questions are very welcome. Things will probably go pretty smoothly with this one. There's a tiny patch where I'm not seeing growth that you'll be able to see in the last pic below. Full disclosure: I put this tub into fruiting conditions a little earlier than I should have due to some time constraints I'm facing.
My goal with this grow, beyond a decent harvest, is to start cloning. My plan is to sterilize some 2-3% honey water in syringes, and clone a few of the earliest specimens. After I take tissue samples from each into separate syringes, I plan to expose the fruits to air and see which ones are the bluest as a proxy for potency, and use the syringes from those samples to start my next generation.

bluing doesn't correlate to potency you should take clone tissue to agar first and use agar to inoculate any LC(sugar water)
nice tubs.

Is that just something known from experience? I thought the amount on bluing is an indicator of psilocybin content, so more blue should mean more psilocybin. Now, I also know that possible to have a potent shroom that doesn't have a lot of bluing, e.g. because the psilocybin:psilocin ratio is low, but why wouldn't a lot of bluing vs. very little bluing be a decent indicator? Is the psilocybin:psilocin ratio highly variable due to genetics?

His words from another thread:

lookin good bro definitely a beautiful 2nd grow! you should defiantly find a nice cluster and clone it although I've never heard of cloning with a syringe full of sugar based LC? i use 9er tek cloning(macerated tissue) and go to whatever pf jar GWLC or straight to grain normally i just go to a pf jar with 10cc of the 9er clone solution and about 4-5 days later i take my fully colonized cake and slurry it out to 20 quarts of oats shit works great for me i dunno what your plans are or how far along your sterile technique is but its defiantly something to think about heres the link http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/10648149 keep up the good work

Here's what things look like this morning. My 2'' diameter holes where the polyfill is sticking through will give you a sense of scale. The veils on some of these guys look like they're starting to break. I'd be interested to here what people think about the size/morphology of these guys, and whether it says anything about how I might improve my conditions.
