growth rate / harvest question helppp please
    #22094933 - 08/15/15 01:52 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

I am doing my first grow right now i have a patch bag fruiting and also cakes still colonizing but my question is about that bag...

Mushrooms finally started popping out however 1 of them grew to about 7 inches tall with about a 3 inch cap in about 2-3 days and the cap is already really inverted while the rest are pins/no taller than 1.5inch

Do i pick this monster now??? Or do i leave it... ive also read that u cannot get a second flush is ur mushrooms drop spores on the mycelium.. is this true?

Heavy sporeloads will abort pins and ruin the pinning surface for subsequent flushes.
