Pf bottom pinning

Would this be from lack of fae? I only seem to get pins and clusters on the bottom of my cakes.

Not from lack of FAE.

It is just the best microclimate for pinning at the bottom. How often are you misting?

Edit: looks bruised from dehydration.

Misting indirectly 3-4 times a day and the one badly bruised cake was not dunked or anything. I usually mist the walls to be honest. Thanks

Mist directly! Including the perlite! Pretty sure most experienced people and almost all the TC's hasn't misted a wall in a really long time

Keep the cakes glistening wet, with no pooling water by misting directly
