Fruiting Chamber Supplies

I'm making my first shroom fruiting chamber and I have a few questions. What's the best type of tub to get. I know clear is good but is there a brand? Also I don't have a drill so what would be the best supplies to make the holes? Maybe a screw driver and hammer? If the holes are not spaced out even does it really matter? What's the main thing to watch out for?
Is there any specific supplies for cleaning or steralization? Like wipes or what what? Anything I should avoid (bleach, rubbing alcohol, etc.) Let me know if I should add anything or change anything.
Check List so Far (✔ means I have it) Spores✔ Cakes✔ Coir✔ Vermiculite✔ Tub Drill

A clear container is all that matters. I use sterilite or whatever is on sale. The size is up to you right. I use a blow torch and a nail to melt holes. Im not sure if hole spacing is important I imagine it would be so its probably better to play it safe and evenly space them. And I use everything to sanitize bleach Lysol any disinfectant really. Just make sure you don't leave any residue behind.

Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping... Holy fucking shit!

You say you are doing cakes...why the coir? You didn't buy pre made cakes did you? Also, if you are doing cakes in a SGFC you will need to add perlite to that list.
Buy a large clear tub. Go to a second hand store and buy a drill. I got a corded Milwaukee brand for 7$. Buy a 1/4" bit, they are very cheap.
Do it right and you won't regret it.

How many cakes and what's your plan?
Tubs crack easy. Use a block of wood on the other side if you drill.

Drill a small hole, 1/8 first, then a medium size and then the 1/4 inch hole. If you do it this way then the tub won't crack so easily.

If he buys the proper bit there should be no issues with cracking. OP just don't buy a super thin, cheap tub and get a bit that is made for plastic/acrylic.
Talk to a sales guy. a bit like this will serve many other applications and the tungsten carbide ones will literally last forever if treated right.

If making a SGFC, then the key to drilling is use a new bit. Cheap is fine as long as it's new. You are only drilling through plastic.
Another key is to apply light pressure when drilling and variate the speed of the drill when drilling. I've never had a problem once and start right off using 1/4" bit.
Also you can heat the bit tip with a propane torch a little. This can help.
Another way is get a Phillips screwdriver and heat the tip with torch or on a gas stove, etc. You can then easily push the hot driver tip through the plastic with a twisting motion. (will have to reheat driver tip every 2 or 3 holes)
Any of these ways is easy as fuck. Don't over think it. It helps to use a permanent marker to put the dots every 2" in the grid pattern.
Do all 6 sides in a 2" grid pattern and you will be golden....
