Heat source for pressure cooker

Hello all!
I'm in a new place but we have a glass top stove and I need to figure out a different heat source for my AA 921. We have a propane grill outside that I have been thinking about using but that seems a bit dangerous since the heat on that thing even at minimum is pretty hot.
Any suggestions?

Depending on the volumes you want to process, maybe something like this:
The little gas bottles sometimes are a little weak and short-lived however.
You could connect your bigger gas bottle to one of these:

I use an outdoor propane burner and sit the pressure cooker above it using cinder blocks.

Perfect! They are used by restaurants and beer brewers and last years since they are so durable. I wish i had one of the double-burner models! You can make breakfast AND sterilize

I dont know if the bayou classic standard has one but most of the double-burner models do. You can also play with the on/off knob for some control but if you need better control bayou classic sells 0 to 30psi adjustable gas lines.
They are a pretty cool company.

I dunno if its just me, but I always start the gas a little hot till I get to pressure, then turn it down a smidge. So a regulator of sorts would be on my list.

Here is what the instructions say about the "on/off" valve:

So apparently the on/off valve allows you to control flame intensity rather than just functioning as an on/off valve

Yeah dude indeed it is. This thing looks deceptively small in the Amazon pic... here is its actual size, with a large paint can for scale

I have a bayou classic double burner that's got to be over 25 years old. Eventually (in a few years) the burner head will rust. When it does, some holes may become clogged and it won't burn efficiently. Use a paper clip to unclog the holes and an air compressor to blow the lines out. That $50 investment will last you a very long time. Plus they're great for boiling crab legs

Awesome tip!! I'm impressed to hear that people still make products that will last 10 years + !
