Dude, I didn't even know such a thing exists!!! Every country has one?
I was just saying that I need to find something relevant for SE Asia so I can look for work while teaching.
Dude... thank you!

oh.. ah...your welcome. I said that because I assumed your were an American. I came across that handbook online a long time ago. I liked to look up certain jobs in that book and it was helpful.

Right now I'm working my dream for this phase of my life job. I work at an auto shop. The boss also flips cars and motorcycles, when I work on those I get a piece of the profit. I especially like working on the bikes.

What am I doing so far to get there? Nothing. I know fuck all about tending to livestock and can't imagine making the investment just to muck it all up. So I'll stick with enterprise apps for now I guess.
Oh man me too!! Not even kidding. We don't have to kill them.... *sniff sniff* I have dreams of this job. Also an herbal farm... with herbs.
But I'm on my way to earn a Bachelor's to become a middle/high school Science teacher. Going for Biology, but hopefully Physics and Earth Science as well. My dream is to become Ms. Frizzle. Ms. Frizzle Fry. Then retire onto a herbal sheep farm.

I typed out a really long post and then deleted it.
I want to do a lot of things. If I can't do them professionally, then I want to do them on my own time.
I'm transitioning from working in live entertainment as a lighting tech/board op to web development, going back to school this spring and the whole nine yards. I find programming machines to do my bidding weirdly gratifying, and I want more job stability, more flexibility, and higher pay. I have been a workaholic for the last 5-ish years, and from what I've seen from my co-workers/peers, it'll never really pay off the way I want it to.
Ultimately, I'd like to do lighting design(or costumes and props, I've worked in those depts before and loved it)for children's theatre - on my own time/not professionally, of course.
But I want to do a shitload more too.

Did you perchance go to school to be a librarian?
I worked in the library in my high school when I went there, its kind of a neat job.

#1 : I'd like to fuck really hot teens and milfs. Maybe 3 days of hot teens and then the next day a hot milf.
Second would be a stock trader. Nothing like making $1000 or more in a trade that you bought 5 minutes ago.

I am currently employed in my dream job . Why? Because I get to work out in a gym every day, meditate every day and read or write or play Hackey sack or listen to podcasts all day and I get three free meals a day.
Basically I have a job where I can do all the same things at work that I would do at home, except smoke weed.
When you are getting paid its so satisfying to meditate and work out.
It's also a permanent job with great benefits, health plan, pension, insurance etc and guaranteed raises at regar intervals as well as a very good shot at a promotion.

Thought I would raise this thread from the grave instead of making a new one. About 3+ months ago I finished my apprenticeship in Roofing & decided that was not the career for me. After leaving it I haven't done shit other than apply for shitty retail jobs I know I wont get.
An so I thought to myself if I could have any job (That I would have at lest a slight chance of getting) it would be getting into Tattooing.
I fucking love traditional tattooing (Sailor Jerry/Ed Hardy) so with all this free time I have now I am focusing hard on my drawing (which I had only ever done for fun in a past with small doodles of skulls/roses/coffins) & am seeking out classes/info onto how to even break into this industry I know it will be hard as balls & I will most likely get fucked around/used or just treated like shit but I really think the end goal for me is worth it.

Well, "job"? Idk.
but to rephrase your question like "what is it you want to DO?" then it would be to spread my music with trusted and likeminded musicians who all want to play radical, mind opening, compassionate music.
What am I doing to get there? Making music on my own, practicing my instrument at least 3 hours a day going to open mic nights and open jam nights and trying to make contacts with local musicians at every opportunity i can.
peace

I would've liked to be a big shot lawyer working in some big firm on high profile criminal cases.
When I was in middle school I was a huge trouble maker. I loved pissing teachers off and then trying to defend myself to get out of detentions. I lived on that shit. Was so good at it I even had my parents on my side most of the time so it encouraged me to keep acting like a little shit and playing victim.
Its actually something I'd really like to do some day, and I better get on it before its too late.
With all the work I've put in since I graduated high school, I think I could get in a very good school for showing I am willing to do the work. I've got the grades and test scores to back it up too.
Only thing is I'd blow my fuckin brains out if I ended up being a worthless lawyer taking on traffic court cases. Although I guess it could really work in my favor if I continued working my already well paying job and passed the bar exam in the meantime so I could take on cases on the side and make hella money.
Does enlil still post around here? I'd be interested in learning exactly what it would take to become a good lawyer. Might actually consider pursuing it if one of my current jobs falls through due to my boss thinking of moving to Texas.

All jobs are the same, you just end up hating them after some time.
If money were no issue, I guess my dream job would be psychedelic drug and medical marijuana research for their therapeutic/medicinal usage as a neuroscientist.
