I read somewhere that you can get microwavable jars at walmart for like $1 a piece.
What do they look like and what's protocol for sterilizing BRF cakes in them?

you can get microwavable (plastic) lids at walmart.

i suggest getting the gasket to go inbetween.

if you dont know how to test your tek, you'll have a ton of failure. without a doubt a pc is an easier and smarter way to go for now and probably for the foreseeable future

Can you control the temperature?
Can it get anything to go past 100C?
No. That is why.
Microwave ovens are useless for this hobby.

yes because when 2 people fail, you all assume that the tek is fully tested and give up.
thats not a feature... its a bug.

i dont have a good solid tek yet, i've had success i have grown mushrooms, its workable.
its not easy at this point, and its not better at this point.
but theres no reason why he shouldnt play with it either
