Growing truffles in "filter boxes"

Hello everyone,
I have this new project : growing truffles (alt7 galindoi) in filter boxes. Filter boxes are these plastic boxes that are used for mushroom grow kits, with a special gas filter lid on top of them for air exchange.
I'm thinking of trying to get 1000ml round-shaped boxes, i will use a spore syringe. The substrate would be sterelized organic rye berries.
First of all, what do you all think of this idea? do you see it working? If so, my second question would be : how do you inoculate a filter box with a syringe, simply poke in the box and cover the whole with tape then?
Thanks a lot, have a nice day

first off edit your post, dont misuse sponsors syringes they are for microscopy only.
the poking and taping a hole is a very old method. sure it may work but there are way better ways to do it.
why dont you just use a jar like everyone else? If you're set on using the boxes I would just crack the lid in a SAB and inoculate.

Thank you for your answer, I edited my post.
Well i'm not going for jars because i've been looking on the internet, and where I live I can't find any synthetic filter disc, to put under the jar lid :/
But as you said, poking and taping might work, so I guess i'll try my best to work in a as clean as possible environnement.

how about poly fill? or a pillow made of polyester? cheapest one you can find, tear it open and stuff the hole in your lid real tight.
A SAB is just a box with 2 arm holes in it, its what most of us use when we need "sterile" conditions.(some have expensive flow hoods)

But you can get these "filter boxes" where you live without having to order them on the internet?

I just looked for polyester and you're right this seems very nice and easy, and cheap. So the process would simply be : - buy jars and lids - poke a hole in lids and fill them with a small, tight, polyester ball. - fill the jars with the substrate, sterelize them. Wait. Shake jar a little bit. - Inoculate with syringe through polyester hole -??? -profit
Hi juiceh
well the trouble was more to find everything in my own language, and the price of shipping cost (this was for synthetic filter discs). But polyester seems perfect.
