Hey there! Recently I stumbled across a good amount of mushrooms that I want to believe are psychedelic. But as a noob, I need help. Thank you for taking the time to help me and have a great day!

Habitat: Growing in a wild field in Southern Utah. They were growing on cow dung under a dead log.
Gills: Attached black gills.
Stem: Length - 2 1/2" Diameter - 1/16" Color - Dark brown fading into a tan. Solid Thin
Cap: Diameter - 1" Color - Very light gray with a tinge of brown in the middle. Conical Convex
Spore print color: I didn't have time I apologize.
Bruising: No apparent bruising.
Other information: Noticeable dark ring around the cap. Faint scent.

The first pic looks like a cubensis. It's active. I'm not so sure about the other ones. The spores should be a dark purple and look for blue bruising.

The pictures don't really do them justice but you can tell that they all look the same in person

Well they sure don't look like cubes. The stems seem to skinny and there is no veil on them. Wait for the response of a trusted identifier to be sure.

It does not look like a cubensis and it's certainly not active. It's Panaeolus antillarum. A Black spored, non-active mushroom that grows in dung.
Please do not make a habit of giving id's in this forum without a disclaimer that you're learning. Someone may take what you're saying to be true.
@Gruezi Mitenand: None of those are active mushrooms. You're looking for similar ones(Panaeolus cyanescens) but they'll bruise a Blue colour once picked and handled. Research pictures and description of P. cubensis so you know what to look for.

I don't think you know what you were talking about. And don't roll your eyes at me either.

Well I was just trying to see if anyone else would chime in I've done my fair share of hunting and know a cube when I see one. It's harder to tell in pictures though. Ok Mr. Mod. I won't go around identifying without a disclosure. I totally understand the risk and respect that you guys really know your shit. I'm actually jealous of you

Don't be jealous, it's not all it's cracked up to be. Be motivated to learn all you can about mycology instead. Once you learn enough then teach others.
Didn't mean to bust your balls too hard either. It's just that it's important to let people know that you're only guessing by saying "it's probably" "It might be" etc. I do this myself if I'm not sure, as it can be difficult to id via pictures alone. I only say "It is" when I'm 100% sure.

Yes,shellzenone....The first indicator and the one that completely rules out cubensis is the location....they simply do not grow in the northern section of the US...and certainly not in Utah.

'zactly...and then the (lack of) annulus, the gill color, the cap shape and color (but of course that can vary quite a bit), and the stipe shape/characteristics/color...and so on.
