just tape it up with electrical tape. if you have pruning sealer, use that to keep it from drying out, otherwise you'll have to wrap it in a damp cloth or something(which is not optimal)

SORRY ABOUT THE PICS BEING THIS HUGE, THEY'RE A HASSLE TO FIX, JUST ZOOM OUT
Took care of that broken branch if you know what I mean.
I think I figured where the plant came from. Neighbours grow op. To me it looks like the same strain, just has grown larger compared to mine as mine's buried in shadow. What do you think? Could those actually be huge buds? The funny thing is, they're some old folks, I should volunteer to pull those weeds out. Gotta help a neighbour out sometimes you know. Win-win.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I know it's hard to judge but could you still try to guess how much it could yield? Doesn't look quite that big in real life, should have put something beside for a reference. How long could I be from harvesting now? The trichomes seem to be cloudy in some places and clear in others. I'll take more pics later, this time with a magnifying glass.
Turns out to be a hermaphrodite. That probably hurt the thc/bud production. As I picked the seeds I lost some around the plant. Do they survive the winter and start growing in spring/summer? How does the natural reproduction work exactly? Used a guide to try to determine the gender of the seeds I picked. All of them have little pits in them but they don't roll well. I'll take the pics and make you guys do the work for me

My best buds. Though I feel they'll time will come soon and someone will need to smoke them out. (lame pun attempt) Should the bug poop and snail slime be a concern?

Holy mother of pearl... you are one of the luckiest bastards on The Shroomery right now... Please update when you harvest. I'd love to see those nuggets of love.

looks good for a lucky find OP. i told you that they could be hermaphrodites.
you can't tell the gender of a seed by looking at it.(even if someone claims that they can) it just doesn't work that way.(unless you went to the trouble to produce feminized seeds, which can be done, but i'm not gonna go into it here).
Don't worry about snail slime or bug poop. consider yourself lucky that you didn't get spider mites or whiteflies.
harvest when your trichomes are 80% milky. some will start to turn amber, but you want most of the clear ones gone. if they start to pop, harvest immediately.

Nice find op.
Next spring I'm going to toss seeds all over town and see how long it takes for people to discover what it is. I'll start with all the government buildings and community gardens. I'd love to see the look on a cops face when he finds a 5ft tall marijuana plant growing on police station property.

Ready for harvest? Have to admit, due to my impatience I've been plucking off a bud here and there which probably has hurt the plant's maturing. I'm thinking it will not get any ''buddier'' because I kept messing with it. But the trichomes should mature further regardless? I guess me trying to convince myself that I have to harvest it, that it will not get any better is also me being impatient.
And are those the evil bugs that destroy buds?

looks pretty frosty, though the buds dont look like they ever filled out. Can't tell if its done without looking and the trichomes under magnification. those bugs won't hurt anything at this point, except that they will stick to your buds and you'll end up smoking them
