Are these legit baby buds of this wild cannabis plant? [NEW close up bud pics, more plants.]
    #22086889 - 08/13/15 01:02 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

To my surprise I've recently discovered a cannabis plant growing in my yard.
And it even seems to have tiny buds, little frosty hairs.
Sorry about the quality and large image size, if needed I can take better images tomorrow.
EDIT! NEW PICS

The bottom leaves are riddled with holes and some yellowness here and there. Bugs? Disease? Should I remove them?

The spot:

Can anyone with some expertise confirm this plant will produce some thc enough to give a mild high? Thanks!

I no longer smoke weed. As I've learned that I hate how it makes me feel. That's right, I've always hated it but I had some psychological problems that prevented me from admitting it to myself.
Well.. it's rather dissociative for me with no redeeming qualities unlike mescaline.
Costs outweigh the benefits given it's very pricey and I have to meet with shitty people and the stuff seems to be laced with synthetic cannabanoids.
But I wouldn't mind this mild all natural bud growing in my garden if it's the real deal.

I cant see the pics, but from your description, sounds like its flowering.

I would wait till Fall season to harvest. Its too early. When fall comes, the light will change and will "auto flower" the wild plant (u lucky dog).

And if u wannaa grow again, make sure to take a cutting and plant it with some root gel

Also, if u want it to bud more artifically, get some water-proof outdoor lamps with red-spectrum lights to accelerate the budding process.

I wanna see the bud too

I don't know much about growing weed, but isn't it really smelly when it is growing? That's probably the only thing stopping me from attempting it.

Yes that looks just like weed, and it seems to be well into flower now, id say about 3-4 weeks in.
You'll know when its ripe when basically those white hairs turn orange and receed back into the calyx from where it came, the calyx will then swell, forming the actual bud we smoke.

You REALLY tell when its done based off of trichome color/ripeness but that's a bit more complex to explain.
Basically you.look at the crystals at 60x magnification, they go from clear to milky to amber.
You want to chop when they turn mostly milk/amber, milky is more speedy, amber trichomes tends to give a more couchlock effect.
The dominance of the strain will dictate those aspects of effect though.

Whose growing weed on your property lol, I don't imagine it just magically appeared there, that's crazy lol.

When my friend bought an ounce of seedy mids(payed 110 dollars) Whenever we found a few seeds, he'd toss them in the park, or yard or wherever there was dirt. I think he might have tossed some into peoples backyards, but have no idea.

It might have been a situation like that.

I like the idea of seed bombing the town.

Ha, sounds like the old spore trick, where u print your shoes or hat with spores and walk around the town or in the forest to spread the magic mushroom spores.

Now weeed seeds?! Awesome.

I suspect a friend came over with seeded bud, was making a joint, and tossed some seeds into the yard like it was trash, and viola! Weed plant.

Lucky he got a female!

Jhonny Potseed strikes again.

OP ur lucky, most people will never find a wild cannabis plant.
And I agree with the other guy, seems highly sativa, so make sure you let it ripen!

Sorry guys but this plant is way past cloning. I mean he COULD clone it...but personally I wouldn't attempt any clones after a plant is already this far into flowering.

Holy fucking shit you didn't know that was growing in your yard?
Lucky find, looks sexy.

I can smell it from probably thousands of feet away at least even when not flowering :awesomenod:

If you don't like the way weed makes you feel then don't smoke it.
Weed really fucks with the "ego"/survival mechanism and it freaks out.
Learn to calm your egoic self and peace will follow.
If you smoke enough daily for a few weeks you will get tolerance and not feel so "out of it."

Almost too hard to believe. I've always been thinking about growing but the hassle that would come put me off. But to find one growing by itself like that, so awesome.

It grows right in the centrer of the garden, there's no way a neighbour or a passer by planted it.
My.. friends did go to the garden to smoke up but it's a bit further from there, still on the way they had to pass by that spot and it could be that one of them drooped a roach or a seed passing by. Most likely.
Crazy stuff whatever the case.

What I'm worried about the most is my grandparents. I don't think they know what it is. I don't think they'd try to get rid of it on purpose as it looks good and resembles some flower/bush but they might dump something on it.
They'd of course get suspicious if I'd just tell them not to touch that plant and let it grow. My grandma would freak at first if I'd tell her it's cannabis, that I wan't to cultivate it and smoke it.. Damn.
Only I of course can evaluate the options to make the decision.

Besides that what do I need to do so that the plant grows/flowers properly? Currently it's aproxm. 85cm tall, I take it won't grow taller as it's already flowering.
I think pure sativas are supposed to grow tall, is it a crossed strain with ruderalis?
It's right below an apple tree with rotten apples laying by the root stem. Does stuff like that affect the plant? The PH level and all that.
What about the bottom leaves that are damaged?
It's mostly in shade during the peak hours of the day, given it got that far it should be fine. Don't think I'll be messing with extra lights or replanting.
The buds are not as big as they look in the pictures, the top one 2cm in diameter, the rest 1cm. What would be your guess of how long am I from harvesting?
Oh and the weird thing is, it has no smell or I lack the sense of smell.

Can I still clone it? I've found a video that demonstrates how to do it but I might have a hassle trying to find that root gel.
So I plant the clone is a small pot. I'll have to get the right soil. Would you grow it indoors? Is it too late to plant a clone outdoors?
It doesn't really concern me. I'd be happy enough to harvest this small bud boy but I wouldn't mind another one.

I'd greatly appreciate if you'd guide me though this. I know I ask silly questions, I'm a complete noob at this.

Definitely 100% pot!!!!!! Guarantee the holes are from bugs And the yellow splotches are most likely a toxicity or deficiency If it starts at bottom of plant it's a secondary nutrient problem Anything but NPK

It's most likely a cross between indica and sativa For sure not ruderalis That doesn't grow branches You could be waiting another 3 to 5 weeks before that's done All depends on how much sativa is in there But average flowering time for sativa is anywhere between 8 to 20 weeks You can clone a flowering plant but takes a lil longer cause it must revert back to vegetative growth to develop rootsBuy dip and grow rooting hormone All organic hydroelectric plugs and clonex If you have anymore questions feel free to pm me Good luck

You got that backwards bro.

If it was NPK it WOULD start at the bottom because those are mobile nutrients and in the event of a deficiency in one of those the plant will move them from the bottom lower leaves to the younger ones at the top and tips of shoots.

Secondary nutrients will show deficiency first at the tips of shoots and younger leaves near the top of the plant.
