Agar Recipe Question

I"ve recently gotten a pre mixed agar/LME product that have quite a bit left of that I think is about 50/50 in ratio. I'd like to experiment with Grain Water / Agar. I've read that you need a lot less Agar if the grain water is "thick" and was wondering if I can use this Agar/LME for this purpose or will having both LME and Grain Water in the same mixture throw it all off? Any thoughts?

I"ve been reading about the advantages of grain water agar, primarily as it can cause pinning from cultures and those pins can lead to really good clone cultures.

The other day I was reading about endospores and the soak vs no-soak topic. I ended up reading about malt extract production, going on about sprouting grains for enzyme production so essential sugars can extracted, interesting stuff.
OP,
Use what you have as is, no reason not to. If you want to play around just get some straight agar powder.
