Where has the rain gone in Baltics ?! Although temperature is almost right (5-9 celsius at night, 15 at day).
Any of you have found some, even without proper rain for a week?

Wow, that is really nice!

Some fatties there, really nice.
Season in my area still seems to be halting, I find some here and some there, but the explosion like we had last year in the end of august seems to tarry a bit, if it comes at all. I keep finding not much more than maybe a hundred or so each time I go out.

@AnglerFish I love those pics of the animals there on page 4. What are those are they llamas?
@knarkkorven My goodness, that is extremely beautiful habitat, not to mention a good haul. Not to mention my roomate is fully Swedish, she moved here a few years back. Her mom flew in from Sweden recently and that was nice. I don't speak the language so things got confusing at points but it looks like I said, extremely beautiful in those pictures!
Keep it up everyone I'm loving the thread so far this year

They are llamas indeed. Only llamas I've seen in my area so far, but they are increasingly popular in Norway. Alpacas too.

Hey all, been a while but I finally got out this year ... rain has been unfortunately minimal but I did manage a couple of hunts and came out with around 70 or so total ... not bad considering most of my spots have been developed by new houses. On the plus side most of mine came from lawns at the edge of former wild fields. It appears they are spreading and shall be safe from new development. Kind of a win I suppose. Tonnes more to be found around Estonia though, just need to find some time and get my Estonian drivers licence
Happy Hunting all you Scandinavian/Baltic hunters!

I can do the Norwegian one, no problem.
Did you actually get those printed?
Anyway, I got a decent haul from one of my secret hotspots, picking about 250 in an hour this morning. Picking in sharp sunlight strains the eyes a bit, but these were all over the place so I would discover new ones all along while picking. It's a bit like getting in a picking trance. I was a bit dizzy when I finally left the spot, which is the size of a football field. I probably covered less than a fifth of it. I'll be back!

Finally had a tiny bit of rain but temps are on and off low with some frost. However I did manage a small haul today in a lawn at the edge of a wild field that hasn't produced this year ... or so I haven't seen.

That's a nice looking handful. Season in my parts has been weird, picked roughly 1400 of them so I'm content though. I know I won't consume more than half of that so the rest will eventually be handed over to friends. For free, of course.
In any case they're still popping since it's been kind of mild here. Planning a last (?) hunt this coming weekend. Will try to contribute to the thread with a few pictures as well. If I get lucky, that is...

Nice photos ... yeah not sure how many more hunts I'll get in before the heavy frosts set in. Last hunt yielded only 4. Now the rain has come though so a few more may sprout up - but I'm getting busier with work. Hope to get at least one more hunt in.

Hey Anglerfish ... did you make it out on another hunt? Any success, despite the rainy conditions here in Tallinn at the moment I only managed to find about 5 in the last week.
