Tahoe Area Boletes

So - these were found about 4 days or so after the most recent rain, maybe a couple days later. Each of them has some unique characteristics.
The one to the left of most photos (and has a close up showing the flesh coloration) that is the most rotund has flesh which stains purplish and has pale purplish-creamy pore surface. The aroma is somewhat disagreeable (being a bit sour) but the taste of the flesh is mild. I have hypothesized that it is either an undocumented subspecies of Boletus Edulis or it might be Boletus Grandedulis, also an undocumented subspecies.
The one in the center, with the reddish stalk and the yellower pores seems to also key out to the Boletus Edulis entry.
The one on the right has no purplishness to the pore surface (instead it is simply cream colored), the flesh does not stain when bruised, and the aroma of the flesh is identical to Boletus Edulis that I have gathered at lower elevations in the Sierra Nevadas.
Anyone interested in helping me understand these boletes?

I disagree. I have found these mushrooms persistently in the Tahoe basin and with an age range from young baby to overblown giant full of bugs. There is a distinct purpling of the flesh, and a sour taste which is consistent with the purpling.
Can I get a TI please? I'm willing to answer more questions.

From the shape and colour of the cap, stem and pores, I want to say Boletus edulis, but I've never picked it myself.

The elevation these were picked at was around 8000 feet. It's been very dry in the winters here, and toward the beginning of this summer we were having several weeks in a row of multiple rainstorms per week. No substantial mushrooms really popped up at the time, but it rained about a week ago and we happened to be walking around in the woods and found some delightful boletes!
I agree that at the very least the purplish staining bolete is var. grandedulis, and likely the one with the delightful aroma and taste is a straight boletus edulis.

Well, they say you don't have to be a Rockefeller to help a feller, but in this case maybe a Rockefeller would be more accurate? Let's see what Alan thinks.
One of these three is not like the other two!
