Cut your foil down. It's restricting FAE to where you want it, on the cake. Foil should be just around the cakes.

After every two mists flip the foil over. Clear the perlite, mycelium will try to colonize perlite. You flip the foil over to prevent bottom pinning.

How often are you misting? Is your mister a fine mist or does it shoot out fat globs of water? Can you show me a pic?

Do you have that in a closet? It looks like it's suffocating.

You also have bacteria. I can tell by the puffy, slimey, shiny stuff on top of the cake.

Did they start pinning in the jar? You have good genetics because they're withstanding a beating.

And you touch your cake with your hands when you flip the foil around?

Blueing is a sign of stress.

Yup, pic of your mister.

Can you take it out of the closet?

You should read this:
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20195542/fpart/all/vc/1

You're lacking Fresh Air Exchange, FAE, in the closet. It's causing your air to have low humidity which is bruising the cakes. If you can put it 6-12" away from the wall and 6-12" high with nothing blocking the bottom holes they'll bounce back eventually.

You're misting enough because they're probably pretty dry in there. When you move it you'll have to mist less.

Yes, bare hands. After you birth them you don't have to worry about sanitation as much. That's why you can dunk them in plain old tap water. The substrate lacks a point of entry for mold or other contams because the foreign spores have nothing to latch on to. The mycelium has dominated the substrate and can focus on fruiting.

Lack of fresh air exchange would not cause low humidity. Exact opposite actually. What are misting with, what is in the water? Looks like you hit them with a spray bottle full our rubbing alcohol. Could that be a possibility?
The one cake looks funky. Don't let it touch the others. The mushrooms on it will be okay to eat. But the cake looks ill, bad ill.

Mist them more. I want to see puddles of water on top of the cakes.

I am reading now that having a fan working in the same room will disturb the FAE and i did not elevate my fruiting chamber at all.  I did not grasp the concept of evaporation correctly. There is some white fluffy stuff around the bottom of my cakes.  Maybe its the mycelium that was colonizing the perlite around.
I cleaned my foil and cakes a little bit.  I did not removed the white fluffy stuff.

And no its tap water that i use in my misting bottle.

The blue cake looks dry. So are you saying that you have a fan running inside the closet that this grow chamber is in? If yes, then that is your problem. Too much fae, or rather not enough humidity to keep up with the wind.  Ie the Santa Ana winds

Im saying that my fruiting chamber is in my closet and there is a fan in my room outside the closet.  But my closet have ventson the door itself so maybe the air was going in the closet and making to much FAE.  And remember i never elevated my fruiting chamber. Shouls i sparkle some verm on my blue cake a spray water on it so it hold the humidity ( now my fruiting chamber is on my dining table)

It is because you didnt evalate probably. That means no air coming in through the bottom at all... Elevate it and make sure its getting air! It should recover if it hasnt been too long

Correct me if I'm wrong:

The humidity in the SGFC is caused by the air coming in from the bottom and pulling the water off the perlite and bringing it into the air. It's maintained by having minimal escapes and constant air running through the system. So if you have no air moving around your room, how can you have high humidity? Wouldn't it just be a box with perlite in it? That's like saying if I had a big box and I put perlite in it and I had no holes then it would constantly be at 100%.

I'm just not sure if I have this wrong or not.

actually put wet perlite in a sealed tub and it will soon rise to 100% humidity and stay there.

try it!

put 4-5 inch wet perlite in a sealed tub and it will stay at 100% for weeks and weeks

but thats beside the point, we want air coming in to constantly dilute co2 and to encourage evapouration from the sub.

when its not sealed it dosent keep up very well thats why sgfcs work so well as the air is entrained through the wet perlite making it more efficient at humidifying rather than just on its own wicking action and can then keep up with the demand of the air exchanges.

when a tub is sealed only minimal needs to evapourate to maintain humidity as minimal is lost from the system.
this goes out the window when its not sealed like in our fcs.
