stomach ache and diarrhoea after eating asparagus/anxiety?

I ate asparagus last night, I think it was imported from Mexico. An hour after eating it I noticed I had a sharp pain in my stomach, then an hour after that I had diarrhoea. My stomach's been a bit sensitive this morning and I feel like I'm 'emptying' out.

Since I did mushrooms a few months ago I feel like I've been really sensitive to this kind of stuff, like when I feel 'off' health-wise, it really bothers me, and I get anxiety and in some cases panic attacks (which I had when I tried mushrooms). There's also this whole emptiness/loneliness feeling that I notice more often than I would like to, and it leaves me feeling that way.

Any thoughts on the food poisoning or the psychological thing?

Asparagus goes bad quickly. Maybe it was a bit rotten? Some things cannot be eaten rotten without getting health issues.
The reason might also be somewhat low immune system or lower stomach acid strength, so the harmful got through and caused trouble. So possibly not entirely caused by asparagus.

Mushrooms could have elevated your perceptions in general. I haven't tried mushrooms myself yet (need to find where exactly they grow in my area, and which kinds and how much to eat, etc.)), but I have elevated my perceptions through spirituality and thinking and such ways (no relation to religions or anything such; religions use spirituality as a tool to fool people into them). Since my senses are already somewhat higher, it would be interesting to see the effects of mushrooms... would be very interesting.
I too notice well changes in my body. If I eat something that has something bad in it, I will feel it. I will feel how it creates bodily discomfort, how it affects my emotions, my thinking, I notice how it changes my behavior, how my muscles work differently, etc. This heightened perception gives opportunities to improve yourself, to find the causes of the issues and correct them.
But as this self-improvement progresses, you'll become more and more sensitive, you'll become to notice things you didn't before.
