Btw, my brug its pretty wild in a sense of care.
Practically, I don't even water it, just prune it sometimes and thats pretty much it.
Well, anyway it's a pretty common plant around here, and this weather seems to suit it quite well

So, I actually left all my Brugs in the ground, and it's been freaking freezing out at night! So far, we have gotten down to 24 degrees.
So, this being said, even mulched, cut back to the ground, and covered with tubs, do you think that all my plants will survive a zone 7 winter, or all my babies probably mush?
I know, a lady up the rood has a huge 10 foot tall plant every year in the ground, and it's display of blooms rivals anything in this whole town, and somehow she manages to keep it alive here throughout the winter. Boy, i sure wish that I knew her secret!

Ok, well, the UK has some warm zones, so you might just be a zone or two above me. I reckon that we'll both have to wait and see

Yeah. We will have to wait And see.
I usually buy new brugmansia Plants every year. But this time I have saved one large plant. It doesn’t have any leafs or flowers On it anymore. I also have some D. Metel and stramonium plants which Still have leafs on and they all appear To be still growing. Can’t wait for next year.🤙🏻

Not me, I have had my same big girl for years. I normally bring her in for the winter but she got too big this year so I cut her back and left her in the ground. If they all do die, it wont matter though, because I cut off over 30 branches and rooted them for next season
Man, I just realized that I never posted any pics of my blooms, dang!
Well, until next year mate

This obviously was not my intention, but I'll just go with it

These are all branch cuttings from my mother plants. I think the teens did the mother plants in though, because they are still out in the ground.
This was actually my intention, but I just let them do their thing.

New blooms forming on the mother plant, smells great!
Also it appears all 4 cuttings that I've planted in the ground have taken off.

Very nice!
I think mine are all dead, we had a regular winter this year, but the previous years we have had zone 8 winters. I guess I'll know this spring.
Good thing that I took all these cuttings before the first freeze!
I don't know how I'm going to keep this thriving until i can put them out in three months.
